Cultivating growth started as a group project of Creativity Encouraged to unify artists and the community around positive growth through an art show & calendar. Our idea was to give artists the broad concept of growth and ask them to explore positive growth in their art submissions. We were hoping to have a unified community show with professional, novice and students all exploring different facets of growth. Such as personal growth, botanical growth, child development, spiritual growth, the creative process and many other forms. This unity through diversity not only reflected the community, but brought different beliefs, cultures, political points of view and philosophy together about positive growth. Even though there is plenty issues that divide us to sift through and properly deal with; we stand asking the question: Can we come together around issues on our street corner, at our local park, with our local students and neighbors?
